DSW, LCSW: Dr. Helen Rymaszewski is a doctoral level licensed clinical social worker practicing individual and family therapy for 20+ years. Dr. Rymaszewski provides clients with a unique blend of cognitive, behavioral, and psychodynamic therapies. Clients discover and build upon their existing strengths and develop new skills to deal with a wide range of problems including depression, anxiety, addiction, communication, parenting, and spiritual issues.
Dr. Rymaszewski draws upon extensive experience at prestigious New York centers for biofeedback, stress management, and the treatment of alcoholism and codependency. Her bachelor's degree is from Adelphi University in 1982 with highest honors as a double major of humanities and social sciences.
Dr. Rymaszewski earned a Master of Social Work degree in 1984 with an honors award assistantship, and in 1987 a Post Masters Certificate in Advanced Clinical Practice. She completed a Doctor of Social Welfare degree in 1995 with academic research and a dissertation on the clinical treatment of alcoholism.
Dr. Rymaszewski and her family have maintained a residence in Florida since 1987. She relocated her private practice here in 1997.
